The company’s leadership team consists of senior executives from the broadband, mobile phone, software, advertising, interactive TV and consumer electronics technology sectors. The management team represents such global technology and media leaders as, Motorola, General Instrument, Research in Motion, Liberty Media, Macrovision and InstallShield.

Ed was founder of General Instrument’s SURFboard™ cable modem business (pre-acquisition Motorola Inc., Connected Home business group). Motorola’s SURFboard™ is currently the worldwide market share leader in broadband cable modem products. Joining Motorola’s Mobile Devices business in 2003 as General Manager, he directed mobile software solutions subsidiaries on a global basis, including 4thpass Inc. and Starfish Inc. (Nokia/Pumatech). He has worked with a worldwide customer base, including China Mobile, China Unicom, T-Mobile US, Nextel, Telefonica Moviles Espana, O2 and Oi.

Frank is Vice-Chairman of tvCompass and a founder of the company. He was also a founder of Universal Electronics Inc. (NASDAQ:UEIC). Universal Electronics became a publicly traded company in 1993 and to date has sold over 200 million universal remotes. Frank was responsible for bringing the remote control to the cable television and satellite industries.

Ravi joined tvCompass from Macrovision (InstallShield) in Chicago. He led a team of engineers distributed across the U.S., U.K. and India where he ran software quality operations for Macrovision. He was an early employee at InstallShield and contributed to building that start-up company into a mature and successful business operation that was recently acquired by Macrovision.

Prior to joining tvCompass in 1999, John worked for SN Systems Ltd who specialized in providing development tools for the computer games industry. John graduated from Bristol University in 1991 with a First Class Honors degree in Computer Science.

Kevin is a pioneer in interactive TV and is the former CTO of OpenTV/ACTV (Liberty Media); Emmy award winning work in interactive television programming. He is an acting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
