and Slingo, Inc. announced today a partnership that will make a
series of Slingo brand games available on tvCompass’ WiFi smart
remote control.
The tvCompass WiFi smart remote, which recently debuted at the
2006 Consumer Electronics Show, is a handheld universal remote
control that employs WiFi wireless connectivity and a cell
phone-style color LCD screen to deliver an enhanced entertainment
navigation experience. The tvCompass network provides consumers with
access to mobile games, an Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and
real-time news, sports and weather updates on the remote’s LCD
screen — never disrupting the onscreen television viewing
experience.
Slingo, Inc. will provide a suite of games, including its
flagship product, “Slingo,” to be played on the tvCompass device.
The partnership between tvCompass and Slingo, Inc. extends the WiFi
smart remote control’s entertainment offerings and demonstrates the
device’s versatility and extensive list of capabilities.
